What Is Blue Suitable For?

Blue is a deep and expressive shade that brings contrast, cool shimmer and clear definition to mosaic work. It works beautifully for water, sky, sea, winter and night-themed motifs, as well as patterns where you want a darker blue surface that still comes alive in the light.

Combine Blue with white, silver, grey, turquoise, light blue or mirror tiles. With pale shades, Blue creates a fresh contrast, and next to Turquoise or Light Blue it adds depth and layered colour variation to the mosaic surface.

Tip: Use Iridescent Blue in mosaic crafts for accents, borders, lettering, water tones and darker details. The iridescent surface makes the blue shade especially striking when light hits the mosaic.
