Ottoman 8 mm glass mosaic tiles are small recycled-glass tiles for pixel mosaics, mosaic crafts and detailed designs. The range includes more than 40 colours with either a glossy or an iridescent, pearlescent finish. The precise 8 × 8 mm size is particularly well suited to small motifs, flowers, leaves, borders, lettering and other designs that require careful placement.

Glossy or iridescent finish?

• Glossy finish: the smooth, high-gloss glass surface reflects light and brings out the colour clearly.
• Iridescent, pearlescent finish: the light-reflecting shimmer adds depth and creates a lively surface that changes with the light and viewing angle.
  
  

Glossy and iridescent Ottoman tiles can be used separately or combined in the same mosaic project. Mixing the two finishes creates contrast, depth and details that come alive in the light.

What Are Ottoman 8 mm Glass Mosaic Tiles Suitable For?

The small size makes Ottoman tiles particularly suitable for pixel mosaics, decorative motifs, flowers, leaves, borders, lettering and clearly defined details. They can be used on plant pots, lanterns, mirrors, decorative objects, wall decorations and garden ornaments, as well as in detailed mosaic art.

The tiles are square with gently rounded edges and corners. Their compact 8 × 8 mm size also makes them easy to arrange on many curved surfaces. By combining different colours, you can create defined patterns, colour transitions and small pictorial designs.

Can Ottoman Glass Mosaic Tiles Be Used Outdoors?

Yes. Ottoman glass mosaic tiles are UV- and frost-resistant and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor mosaic projects, the base, adhesive and grout must also be suitable for exterior use and the intended application.

• 50 g: approx. 85–100 tiles, with approximate coverage of 90 cm², equivalent to about 9 × 10 cm with an approx. 2 mm grout gap

The number of tiles may vary depending on the colour, finish and weight of the individual pieces. Tile placement, cutting and the shape of the project also affect the final coverage.
