Iridescent 20 mm Glass Mosaic Tiles

Iridescent Surface That Changes with the Light

Iridescent 20 mm glass mosaic tiles combine through-coloured glass with a light-reflecting surface treatment. The iridescent finish changes in appearance depending on the lighting and viewing angle, giving the mosaic depth, colour variation and a lively shimmer.

The tiles are not transparent. Their decorative light effect comes from the iridescent surface treatment, while the through-coloured glass provides a strong and consistent base colour. As the light changes, different tones become visible across the surface.

The tiles are supplied as mesh-mounted mosaic sheets in two sizes: full sheets with 225 tiles and smaller sheets with 25 tiles. The sheet can be used whole, cut into strips or divided into smaller sections. Individual tiles can also be removed from the mesh for free-form placement and more detailed designs.

The 20 × 20 mm format works well for colour areas, geometric patterns, borders and decorative accents. The tiles are easy to cut with mosaic nippers and can therefore be adapted to curved lines, smaller spaces and irregular gaps.

What Can Iridescent 20 mm Glass Mosaic Tiles Be Used For?

Iridescent tiles are suitable for mosaic pictures, mirrors, trays, plant pots, boxes, frames, decorative objects, wall decorations and mosaic art. The light-reflecting surface is especially effective in borders, focal points and other areas where a shimmering detail is desired.

The small sheet is ideal for smaller decorations, colour sampling and individual accents. The large sheet is a practical choice when more of the same shade is required or when creating a larger, continuous iridescent surface.

Combine with Other 20 mm Glass Mosaic Tiles

Iridescent tiles combine beautifully with Classic, Goldlink, Crystal, Joy Glass, Murano, glitter, marbled and transparent 20 mm glass mosaic tiles. Combining surfaces that reflect light in different ways adds contrast, rhythm and depth to the finished mosaic.

Expert Tip

Position the tiles in different directions so that the iridescent surface reflects light differently from each viewing angle. A few iridescent tiles can highlight an important detail, while a larger area creates a more continuous and constantly changing shimmer.

Iridescent Glass Mosaic Tiles for Outdoor Use

Iridescent 20 mm glass mosaic tiles are UV and frost resistant and are also suitable for outdoor projects.

For outdoor projects, the base, mosaic adhesive or other suitable fixing material, and the grout must be suitable for exterior use, changing weather conditions and the intended application.
